the one that got away - how do you handle grief?

I just lost a bid for my dream speakers that I had been chasing for a decade. It was pretty stupid because I missed the last hour and maybe I would have won it with another $100. But maybe it's a sign, it's just a piece of hardware, that I should not be obsessed with. - "you can't always get what you want"

Did you always get the gear you thought would make you whole?

@kennyc the story has taken a turn for the worst and I was too embarrassed to tell.

I am done mourning and I am banging my head against the wall. I mixed up the seven stages of grief.

@audition__audio I disagree with the general assumption that meaning of words are up to the individual. But in my next life, I will use this argument in all my exams when I am clueless. (which is my registered address according to the @thecarpathian Institute)

@parkergetdean ,

No! Your registered address and username at The Carpathian Institute is mindbooglinglyineptpgt, not clueless.

You’re even mind bogglingly inept at telling people how mind bogglingly inept you are!

Hmm, maybe we should reconsider the ’clueless’ part.🤔

Ugh! I typo’ed.

It’s MindbooglinglyineptpgD.

You’re so mind bogglingly inept that your ineptitude can somehow traverse space and time and temporarily corrupt my mind bogglingly stupendous intellect!

Enough of this nonsense.

Lunch is over, it's a picture perfect New England day, and this picture perfect Carpathian is off to enjoy it while @parkergetdean is most likely off to trip on a linoleum floor.
