Make sure that your source handles the higher Bluetooth codec
Recommendation for a Blue Tooth Adapter for a Vintage Stereo
I would like to stream Public Radio at my remote cabin which is out of range for any of the available stations. I have a vintage Zenith console stereo ( which sounds remarkably good) with tape inputs so I think it will work, given the right adapter and RCA cables.
The price for these adapters varies significantly, so one assumes there are quality differences and that is my question, what to buy. I would just as soon pay a little more for quality sound if the cheaper ones are indeed inferior.
I am open to recommendations or comments from anyone with experience with these. Thank you!

@mahler123 Yes, you are correct, my iPhone does not handle the higher resolution bluetooth so I appreciate your noting that. The purchase of the Apt X unit is probably pointless given that my iPhone will be the source. I assume my AirPod Pros are also not capable of processing the higher Rez signal yet I find the fidelity to be more than satisfactory. |
