What type of cables make the most difference

What type of cables, in your subjective experience, makes the most difference? I’m not focusing on brands, but rather, on type, ie, speaker cables, power cables, analog interconnect, digital interconnect, and anything else I may have omitted. If you don’t think cables beyond a base level of competency makes a difference that’s fine too.

I like the one answer you have yo spend at least $2,000  for your cables.Yeah if you have a system that cost over 100,000 no problem. But my system is 10,000..2 000 I don't think so.

This thread speaks to the idea of things being system dependent. I’ve found that the electricity coming out of the socket one plugs into has been more important than any of the cable swaps I’ve made. I followed the oft made recommendation to install a dedicated circuit just for the audio gear. That made a very noticeable improvement. The second such improvement came when I purchased an Audioquest Niagara power conditioner. Sources and preamp were connected to it, but the amplifier went into the wall socket. The improvement in clarity was even more noticeable than after using the dedicated circuit. It was the “aha” moment.

The power in my neighborhood is notorious for brief outages, spikes when power comes back on, lightning induced spikes, etc. We live at the end of the utility’s service area, which apparently has something to do with it.

In a summer place, a dedicated circuit isolated with a separate transformer made far less of a difference.

The only component for which a power cord made a significant difference was my high power, dual mono, solid state power amp. Perhaps the heavier gsuge wire made the difference, but there was more snap and clarity to transients. While interconnects have made a difference, using XLRs wherever components allowed made the most noticeable improvement in clarity. But none of the cable ugrades matched the clearly audible difference of the dedicated circuit and power conditioner in our primary residence.

ANY TYPE CABLE DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED BY HAND, using "solid core 7N OCC copper" (silver plating optional)

The answer is all of them.

on high end audio setups.

on mid fi setups cables differences usually can’t be heard. Have tried on mass market gear setups. Not enough detail and resolution to bring out differences.

The most significant power cable in my system is the one plugged into my Audioquest Niagra 7000 power conditioner and the wall outlet.  I currently use an Audioquest Dragon HC power cable.  That cord is something, as well it should be considering its cost.  Since everything is plugged into the Niagara, it affects the sound of everything plugged into my system.

Next, I find that cables carrying a signal makes the next biggest contribution, especially anything that plugs in from a source (DAC, turntable, reel to reel, etc) into the preamp.  I recently changed  the cable between my transport (Luxman D-03X) and my DAC (ARC DAC 9) when I replaced my trusty Kimber Black Orchid to a Synergistic Research Galileo SX; that was pretty significant jump; I also have to say the new (to me that is...) Kimber Select 1136 XLRs from preamp to mono maps was a nice jump also.
