What am I doing wrong?

Hi...

I am looking for a device other than a PC, that I can plug SD or MicroSD into, that I can also plug USB SSD into, that will catalogue the albums contained on those devices and then transmit them via UHD Bluetooth, LAN or USB to a speaker nest for example a JBL Authentics 500 that I own. I cannot find one, I cannot find any!! Help!!

Don’t have direct experience with this hub, but this is precisely the hub type that worked in my system.

I think you’ll be happy with the BS Node. They are the Swiss Army Knife of hifi and their software is intuitive and easy to use.

I have progressed from the Node to an Eversolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2, this I can get for $950 so it's a good day.

For a display with BT/ WiFi, a tablet or smartphone (without a SIM, if you are looking for a dedicated wireless display and no telecom.) Used is your friend. Amazon sells USB SD and microSD drives cheaply all day long. If you are wanting to use the display as a node for multiple drives, then either a model with multiple USBs or use an outboard USB extender.
