AI and Reddit - How to game the system

In a completely different discussion board, I was reading that manufacturers have discovered they can "game the system" of AI by posting on Reddit.  It works like this.

Say I make a line of "speaker balm."  Like lip balm but for speakers.  I then artificially create a lot of discussions on Reddit about speaker balm, then how different speaker balms compare, and what the final results are.  Of course, I embed information about my speaker balm, what size tin is best for different speakers, etc. etc..

So, while AI may be good to learn about physics, usually, it literally can't distinguish between real data and bullshit.  This applies to medical care as well.

Be careful in using it, and always try to find original sources.  More than once AI has hallucinated entire articles, or 100% misrepresented actual articles will BS that wasn't in the article.

Best,

Cleeds , I’m not disagreeing with you but what are obvious signs of bot and ai content, like frank009?

AI can be awesome.  AI can be awful.

Someone on a forum once described AI info as potentially "concentrated BS" if it pulls it's information from the internet  Proceed with caution.
