Streamer/dac direct into Music Reference RM-200?
Does anyone know if the input sensitivity of the RM-200 Mk I can be driven by running a DAC/Streamer with internal volume control without a preamp? DAC/streamer is a Aurender A1000. Thanks for any help.

Thanks @tomic601 for the input. Do you still have RM9? I'm anxious to get another MR amp back in my system. Had a RM-10MkII years ago and stupidly sold it. Roger was a treasure - spoke with him on the phone a couple times, RIP. |
Sadly no - I passed it along to a great friend who PSE amplifiers gave up the ghost… with the TAD speakers I now get by with a very heavily modified MC240 tube amp. I do often wonder if in my situation / listening habits / modest needs around SPL, that an RM-10 might be the ultimate…. miss Roger too |
