Posting photos?

I recently attempted to add a photo with a comment here. Both dragging the photo and copying and pasting the IMG failed. This is with an iMac.

I ask Amazon how to do this and just received a reply suggesting asking others how they succeeded. So, summary help will be appreciated.

You can’t simply paste a photo from your phone or HD. If the photo’s not on the net, you could save it under your virtual system here, then link to that.
