Best bang for the buck

What’s been the most cost effective item you purchased for your system?
I will go first- a Zerostat I bought 40 years ago. Next most cost effective purchase has to be a Denon DL103R cartridge which I bought new for $300.

In terms of quality audio reproduction in general, a company named "SCHIIT" has entered the market a few years ago, with some incredible high quality, high performing audio components. I would easily recommend their products to any audiophile. And at their price point, you can't go wrong. They also have a trial and return policy.

This is a general recommendation. "SCHIIT AUDIO"

I asked my partner if it would be a good idea to listen to some “Shiit Audio”.

Her reply was,  as expected, “It can’t be very good with a name like that”

She would probably give a similar answer if l asked her “What is a “Shih Tsu?” and say, “A zoo with not a lot of animals in it”

Room treatments. Next best value ratio was building the Satori Helios Textreme speakers, but with the beryllium tweeters.

@balthazarjw 😀 THC--what sent me on my audio journey--first time i had ever listened into the music and the first album i heard was Days of Future Passed--opened the audio rabbit hole.  Only do it occasionally any more but never regret.

@dtorc -my story is similar but cheaper--i did a phone call with Jim for $175--was supposed to be a half hour but he stayed with me for 1.5 hours and guided me through the tweaks i needed in the room--thought about hiring him to come and listen but after the call the sound was so good and good enough.  Best money i ever spent--RIP Jim
