I didn't think it was that annoying.
Not as annoying as this one:
Elbuktál, mert az Univerzum gyűlöl téged! 😃
the one that got away - how do you handle grief?
I just lost a bid for my dream speakers that I had been chasing for a decade. It was pretty stupid because I missed the last hour and maybe I would have won it with another $100. But maybe it's a sign, it's just a piece of hardware, that I should not be obsessed with. - "you can't always get what you want"
Did you always get the gear you thought would make you whole?
I was watching "Your friends and neighbors" when the pawn lady said: there was only one dog fair in Buda. Guess what John Hamm said @thecarpathian |
@prof I enjoyed your story sharing |
Grief. Oh yes... My father had not one, but TWO ARC D-150s. (He had two systems) I told him repeatedly that I had money set aside for either one should he ever decide to move on. Well, I came home from university one weekend and lo and behold, one of them was gone, traded in for something else. He refused to tell me what they gave him for it but, trade in? This was the late 70's mind you. Again, I told him I had money set aside. And again, another weekend I came home and the second one was gone. I was heartbroken. Did you know they only made about 200 of them?? The other case was the set of Infinity RS1-Bs that he had... Same thing! He never told me why he preferred to lose money on any of his gear than sell it to me. Well, I've got his B&W Matrix 800s, his Jadis electronics and the rest of it now. Now to find a house to set it all up in! Happy listening. |
