the one that got away - how do you handle grief?

I just lost a bid for my dream speakers that I had been chasing for a decade. It was pretty stupid because I missed the last hour and maybe I would have won it with another $100. But maybe it's a sign, it's just a piece of hardware, that I should not be obsessed with. - "you can't always get what you want"

Did you always get the gear you thought would make you whole?

It is very dangerous to your health to pursue " the gear you thought would make you whole".

That desire can never be satiated.

I generally save and borrow for the components I want. My very first bank loan out of college was for $5K ($20K in todays dollars) for a Threshold S500 amp. I got it since I ordered it from my dealer. I think I had it for fifteen years. A spectacular amp for its time.

Out of curiosity, what is your "dream" speaker?

Mine are the MBL 101 X-Treme MKII.
