Is there any interesting music coming from France ?

Could you post examples ?

inna

SIIE (Francophone EBM), Bérurier Noir (odd ball "punk"), Closed Mouth (post punk) with side project MAUP & Zhao 13 (Chinese leaning ambient), Cold Cause (Coldwave), Lovataraxx (dark synth), Swesor Bhrater (Neofolk), Volcan (ambient electronica), Rue Oberkampf (darkwave), Minuit Machine (synthpop: also their label Synth Religion with slogan "forgive me for my synths"). Contre Soirée (dark weirdness)

Just off the top of my head. There sure is more.

Manu Katche,  Live in concert Recorded live at the New Morning, Paris, 2014

 Manu Katché / drums
Luca Aquino / trumpet
Tore Brunborg / sax
Jim Watson / piano & Hammond organ

On the ACT label, Germany.  A killer performance and sound, attached a review: https://www.actmusic.com/en/live-in-concert/ACTLP-9577-1

While Keith Jarrett is not French, his Bordeaux Concert, recorded at the Auditorium of the Opéra National de Bordeaux in 2016, certainly draws its improvisational inspiration from the French crowd.  If you like The Koln Concerts, you'll like this. Again, I'll attach a review: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2022/sep/30/keith-jarrett-bordeaux-concert-review
