Would like to stream and connect my turntable through a single pre-amp

Any sugestions?

Must have RCA inputs and outputs

currently using a Blusound unit, but the RCA to mini jack adapters are not the best

Budget around $1000

Much appreciated - Cheers

By single preamp I'm guessing you mean one with the phono stage built in?

Preference for solid state or do you want a couple of tubes in there?

@thecarpathian  - Solid state preferred

Already have a phono stage, so just one rca input requied for that

currentl looking at NAD

thx

Solid state in that price range, I would look at the Schiit Kara F and save a couple of hundred dollars.

Since you already have a phono stage and are familiar with the Bluesound streaming platform, a used Node Icon (~$1000) seems like the obvious choice.

@ntpc4 - Whilst I really like the Bluesound product line, I really dislike the fact that their gear uses a 3.5" mini stereo jack for analogue input and output nd they are located very close to the power socket, which makes it a little cramped when I connect my power cable.

I really would prefer to have a direct RCA connection and get rid of the RCA adapter plugs.

But I found a streamer/preamp - WiiM Ultra Music Streamer & Digital Preamp

Comes with the inputs and outputs I was looking for and a phono input also

Seems to get pretty good reviews as well, so I’m hoping it will be close to the Bluesound from a fidelity perspective.

I’ll post an update in a couple of days once I have set it up and ran a few albums through it

I just looked at some reviews on these forums and they seem very positive - so fingers crossed.
