Best concert you've attended

Mine is The Doobie Brothers, at the Civic Center in Amarillo Texas, in 1976. I was 16 years old.

The weed smoked all around us was good  too.

Both of my favorite concerts were happy accidents:

First concert in my life, I was 13 years old; August 16th, 1974 at the Capital Centre in Landover, MD. My parents were at a trade show in Vegas, and I was staying with a friend who was 18......her parents were also at the trade show. Second day I was there, she told me to get ready, we were going to a concert. Her boyfriend and 4 other friends picked us up, and off we went. Also the first time I was exposed to pot.

Three Dog Night was the headliner, Souther - Hillman - Fury was the second band, and Little Feat opened up. My friend and her group were all huge Three Dog Night fans, and lost their minds that night. I thought they were excellent, as was S - H - F, but it was Little Feat that blew my mind.

I saw them 6 more times before Lowell died, including 2 of the 3 nights at Lisner Auditorium in Washington D.C. in 1978 on the Waiting for Columbus live album tour. I wore out that album twice before switching to digital.....one choice desert album for me.

I'll get the other up hopefully over the weeken

every Springsteen concert from '75 - '85.

@vthokie83 - yes indeed, Little Feat! Lisner Auditorium was their home away from home; the two places Feat were most popular was LA, where they were from, and the DC area, thanks to being championed by WHFS (I'm originally from Silver Spring).
