What blues are you listening to today?

Blues is by far my favorite and most listened to genre. I don't know how many of us are in here, but I thought a continuing thread of this kind might be of interest.

I'm listening to Buddy Guy's Sweet Tea. Buddy's covers of Junior Kimbrough,      T-Model Ford, CeDell Davis and the like are awesome. Jimbo Mathus sitting in on rhythm guitar doesn't hurt!

So what blues are on your system today?

Great thread.

I’ve been going to this obscure little 1990 film soundtrack that features Miles Davis and John Lee Hooker along with Taj Mahal on and off for about 3 years now.  I thought this would be a good opportunity to share a pretty good Blues album along with some late model Miles for some like-minded folks who might also find it to be good listening.

I've seen quite a few of my artists mentioned by other posters. We saw Buddy Guy in concert a couple of years ago...what a master of the guitar! Two artists that I didn't see mentioned are Charles Brown and Gene Harris. Gene's piano playing is fabulous; he had many recordings on Concord Records when digital became the thing; I haven't found many of his albums on vinyl.
