What blues are you listening to today?

Blues is by far my favorite and most listened to genre. I don't know how many of us are in here, but I thought a continuing thread of this kind might be of interest.

I'm listening to Buddy Guy's Sweet Tea. Buddy's covers of Junior Kimbrough,      T-Model Ford, CeDell Davis and the like are awesome. Jimbo Mathus sitting in on rhythm guitar doesn't hurt!

So what blues are on your system today?

You guys. Just finished with Little Walter. You want real blues? Tune into Cap’n Pete’s Blues Cruise on WEVL Memphis 89.9 (wevl.org) Friday nights 9-12. Saying Zep is the blues is an interesting idea. Page would laugh his ass off at you. Mr Henderson who did Cap’n Pete’s died almost 20 years ago and they replay him every Friday. That’ll educate you!

I don’t think these have been mentioned yet…
Terry Evans

Mighty Sam McClain

Rocky Athis

Delbert McClinton

Rogers was guitarist in Muddy Waters's band, and on this album he plays with Willie Dixon, Fred Below, Muddy, Walter Horton, Otis Spann among others.
