The opening bass line run by McCartney and the Claviola (I think that’s what it’s called) keyboard from Lennon are great tests of your systems bass depth / detail level and midrange soundstage, respectively.
That bass line descends so smoothly (and so low) as to make a virtual “pressure wave “ at the low point(s)… and those keys meander delightfully across the soundstage at various times and at various speeds…
I know that on my vintage system I can truly “feel” the bass as strongly as any kick drum; and the keyboard is almost “surround sound” like - you feel like it’s all around you… as if the instrument was being played while Lennon was walking in a circle around your listening room.
