If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It

I challenge anyone to look at all of ASR’s reviews and find a single instance where he used something that would be considered real science in anything he’s ever done.

This is another ad hominem. Evaluate. The. Argument. Not. The. Person.

And why is this important? Because Dave at Ascend is a truly talented and diligent engineer who put a lot of time and real science (that word again!) into his speakers. If this argument in the video is correct, then those efforts are being damaged by  poor measurements and fake repairs by someone who is misleading the public while making money at it. Is it intentional or not? Doesn’t matter. Damage is damage. The fact that there has been a "doubling down" after Ascend pushed back with arguement makes the argument here all the more important to evaluate.  

This argument does Ascend and the hobby a service by laying out what appears to be bad methods and false claims. I've raised the question in this thread about the argument's merits, not about whether or not you like ASR.

ASR has added value to my hifi quest.  That’s all that matters to me.
