The Koetsu Black Goldline

Just received my Koetsu Black Goldline back from Andy at

http://phonocartridgeretipping.com
The coil was bad so  he installed a new coil and stylus.
this cartridge sounds incredible.

He had it back to me in less than a week.

Does anyone else had Andy rebuild their cartridges?

Were you happy?

A local dealer who sold mostly Koetsu cartridges to his high end customers (that is how I got to touch the likes of Blue Lace cartridges, I cannot afford these), sends cartridges needing work to Andy Kim.  He is very pleased with the results and the short turnaround time.  He has a small stash of damaged Allaerte cartridges and has gotten back a few from Any Kim after repair and they sound terrific.  Andy Kim has original parts from Allaerte.  If you send your Allaerte to the company instead, you might never see the cartridge again so it is good to have a competent rebuilder.  This same dealer has a cartridge that was sent to Allaerte that he has never gotten back (sent in 2005).  They are notorious for being slow with re-tipping work.

My dealer said that the Koetsus he has sent to Andy came back sounding just like an original cartridge.
