Mundorf (non-oil) Silver / Gold EVO MCap Supreme coupling caps in your tube amp ???

Anyone have good luck with these caps in your tube amp?

Previously tried Clarity MR caps and Jensen Copper Oil caps in my prior (same brand) tube amp with decent success. The Jensen oils were nice and a bit more syrupy sounding than my former Clarity caps, were too harsh for me. Looking for something in between. Normally I almost always prefer oil caps; maybe not this time. We will see. For my newer tube amp, a few folks who modify/upgrade Cary tube amps recommended installing these Mundorf (non-oil) Silver Gold Supreme EVO caps - reportedly for a bit more "open and extended air, ,with more bass, and still retaining a nice lush sound" as compared to my former Jensen oil caps. I did listen to my exact same tube amp with similar tube compliment with high-end V-Caps and it was a bit too lean for my taste. I’m hoping these new EVO caps sit somewhere in between and still retain a nice smooth sound.

Another M fan here, Now that i upgraded my IC cable (see my latest topic in cables forum), the Mundorf Supremes in the Defy 7 have really come through,,,I was concerned as i modded the Cayin cd player with M caps, the preamp with M caps and then the defy with all kinds of top quuality caps,,yet something was blocking the gains,,i figured it was the preamp,,then I got the new IC cable and , ,all the Mundorf caps now beagan singing w2ith gogeous openness, spacious,  realism, 
No  dount the Mundorf black supreme or the smaller brothers the white caps (for space constrainst and/or budget constraints) both will add textures and openess to your system. 
Highly recommended. 
havea  used Jadis DPL arriving tomorrow, which will be recaped with M caps, plenty of space,,but will have to go white caps for budget constraints, The Supremes would cost a  fortune..and I am not so sure the Supremes are worth the extra 2X's cost vs the white body caps. 
Could you tell which is which in a  blind test?

Yes, the difference is in the fullness of the sound, only after fully burned in - yet I added the smaller White non-evo version to my input devices (DAC, pre) and use the larger black EVO Supreme Silver Gold only on my amplifiers fwiw.  YMMV.

To @josemar - message received, I cannot message you directly on Audiogon due to payment policy.  "65 hours" of burn-in cap forming, settling in - is not enough.  

No joke - give it 200hrs and you'll find these particular caps will continue to form and settle even up to 300hr. They become smoother and more weighty sounding, but good grief it does take a while.  Takes a lot of patience with these caps.  This occurred on my last 2 amps and others who've messaged me with the same long painful timeframe to play and wait, good luck.

Dear @decooney   : I can read in thread that all audiophile posts including you are using the capacitors as a Tone Control in your room/systems when the true is that serious manufacturers design and make capacitors to run exactly as the job any cap :must does, far away than be a " tone control ". Electric ( ingeenering.) laws are what fix the targets in any kind of capacitors,not you,me or any one else.

Here what we have to know about capacitors and  what several " high end caps " just don't do it and ar rhe end their caos work as a control tone passive device instead to really makes what is supposed to do:

I recomend for you ( even that you already have the Mundorf ) the Wima FKP1. I already used almost all the " hogh end " caps named in this thread and after understand what is that " tone contrl " main characteristic I found out that are: colorations and heavy distortions added to signal that should not been there. Yes those distortions is what we like.

You can try rhe FKP 1, are totally inexpensive and could bu through Mouser Electronics. If you do give the Wima around 10-20 hours for you can do a good judgement.  Exist NO colorations/distortions because is a neutral cap as should be always.

Could be good foryou to know how in reality performs your electronics quality levels.

I don't know where you read that true joke. A true cap as Wima or Vishay needs no more than 3-5 hours and not "to form ".

I think that like me you need to learn by your self making caps tests including the Wima.

What other audiophiles/gentlemans said is not about a true cap but " other passive device " that they named capacitor.

Don't beloeve me but make those tests by your self. I you don't like it at least you will know youare "rigth " and if you like then you improve your knowledge audio levels.
