Sweet

I’ve not been one to talk a lot about my system a lot, but I feel I have to tell someone (not many have heard it.)   I listen to mostly orchestral music and feel that I’ve reached a point where almost every orchestral recording I play incredibly reproduces the true sound of an orchestra in full bloom (aside, of course from the real thing.) I couldn’t be happier.
Not only that, but chamber music and piano sound  very fine too.

I’m a happy camper.

Enjoying the music immersed in the the real sounds of strings, horns and percussion is all we could want. Appreciating the bliss of sound diminishes the gear. A nice place to be!

Three things I’ve learned from this endeavor:

1. If you listen for sonic problems you’ll find them.

2. Since it is a hobby, you feel you have to play with it.

3. If it sounds really good, leave it alone!

Dear @rvpiano    :  Congratulations and after several years your room/system  rewards today  should be the main target of any MUSIC lover/audiophile.

As @ghdprentice  and you I'm there too after each one of us hard effort, time, patience, improved knowledge and skill level.

" I think (hope!) my tweaking days are over.
Just want to enjoy the music now. "

Rigth.

Regards and enjoy the MUSIC NOT DISTORTIONS,

R.

@rvpiano Congrats!

1. If you listen for sonic problems you’ll find them. Check - doing that.

2. Since it is a hobby, you feel you have to play with it.  Check - doing that.

3. If it sounds really good, leave it alone!  Erm…😬

To be fair - I too am getting there. Room treatments are next on my list and it’s my hope that’s the last frontier for me with this system. But I also know myself well enough that it’s hard for me to leave “well enough” alone. Oh well - as others have said - it’s the journey!

Best and enjoy,
