Sweet

I’ve not been one to talk a lot about my system a lot, but I feel I have to tell someone (not many have heard it.)   I listen to mostly orchestral music and feel that I’ve reached a point where almost every orchestral recording I play incredibly reproduces the true sound of an orchestra in full bloom (aside, of course from the real thing.) I couldn’t be happier.
Not only that, but chamber music and piano sound  very fine too.

I’m a happy camper.

Congrats! I, too, have reached my nirvana and have happily left my tweak days behind. So much more pleasure from enjoying the music as opposed to enjoying my next upgrade.

Let there be songs to fill the air

I hope you get to rest on your laurels, enjoy the music and let go the infinite pursuit. In the end, it is probably just chasing the last few percentage points of improvement and the tiniest increments beyond that cost probably way more than necessary. Sit back and enjoy your music and be grateful for the journey that got you there. I am sure you will be much happier than delving into all the never-ending “what-ifs.” Now you just acquire more music. I am very happy for you. What a great place to be!

Congratulations! You are at a place most aim to be.  Enjoy the fruits!

Enjoying the music immersed in the the real sounds of strings, horns and percussion is all we could want. Appreciating the bliss of sound diminishes the gear. A nice place to be!

Three things I’ve learned from this endeavor:

1. If you listen for sonic problems you’ll find them.

2. Since it is a hobby, you feel you have to play with it.

3. If it sounds really good, leave it alone!
