Sweet

I’ve not been one to talk a lot about my system a lot, but I feel I have to tell someone (not many have heard it.)   I listen to mostly orchestral music and feel that I’ve reached a point where almost every orchestral recording I play incredibly reproduces the true sound of an orchestra in full bloom (aside, of course from the real thing.) I couldn’t be happier.
Not only that, but chamber music and piano sound  very fine too.

I’m a happy camper.

Congratulations! What a great place to be.

I remember when I reached that level. I was still a season ticket holder of the Oregon Symphony and attended every symphony. Then they added a DSP system to the symphony hall and the sound deteriorated enormously. To the point that my system sounded very significantly better. So, for good or bad... there was no longer any reason to go the the symphony... saved a couple grand a year.  Although I'd have to save that for 75 years to say that was a good financial decision only based on cost reduction.
