I didn't buy it because I had heard some pre-rumblings about the quality.

Seems to be a mixed bag so far with the reviews.

I have quite a few different copies of this.  LOVE the album, but I'm getting a little tired of buying the same damn title over and over and over...

Tres Hombres is such a great and influential album to me, it was a no-brainer. SQ? 

I believe this was always a great sounding record. 

In comparing the SQ of  UHQR /Axis to my pp or the Eddie Kramer remasters from decades ago, was significant.

In comparing the SQ of UHQR/Tres Hombres to my pp, was not so much an improvement in SQ, but had greater extension and the sense it could go on for ever.

I haven’t bought a copy in a couple decades so, for this title I splurged. I saw Fremer gave it an 8/8, with no reason behind it. I think that was harsh.
