@mrmb Spot on. Overall we humans are vicious. Sure many people are in fortunate places where they don’t have to be fighting. If we’re fortunate, then we luxuriate and accumulate. Scant few with means choose a monastic life. Some with means are rotten. Same as it ever was. That’s our sort.
I find the no kids proposal to be spurious. Breeding is also built into our codex. As is the dopamine high from sex. Like it or not that’s who (by snd large) we are.
The alarm on Mother Earth was been going off for years. Years!
Mankind is an oxymoron. This one has been fortunate and knows it but still if put into a corner would fight back.
