I didn’t know that show existed until recently. Sounds like a great thing to do! Unfortunately, I can’t go. I’m in Connecticut working. Pick up a pair of Amperex 7316pq's for me.😃 My wife and I make the trip to Kutztown for the terrific area wineries and Amish stuff. Have dinner at Folino’s vineyards. Wonderful old world Italian fare. Their wines are a bit on the dry side if you partake. For sweeter wines Clover Hill winery is the ticket. Both in Kutztown.

You are thinking of Tsakaridis Devices. Another company turning out great sounding tube gear. |
I didn't know it existed either until I stumbled across it online somehow. But I was not readily buying tubes until the past year either. I have gone there for antique and postcard shows over the years. I had no idea they had good wine there, although wineries have popped up considerably in the past couple of years here in PA, because, I think, the assumption is that this area will be much more friendly to growing grapes in the future - ala the United Kingdom becoming the next France when it comes to wine. I am a beer drinker, of which there are a stunning amounts of great beer to be had here locally. My wife quit drinking a couple of years ago and for that reason, I do not drink as much. Amperex sound great in my system but I have settled on long black plate, square getter RCA's. Amperex is a tad bright while RCA is about the same but doesn't mean I have to turn the volume down a couple notches because of it. The Amish. Ha-ha. Everybody is entranced by the simple folk. Bet you bought some unnecessarily trinkets on your trip, surely it was your wife's idea...that and the wine. |
