Advance Paris A12 v. McIntosh MA352

I'm looking into changing into a hybrid integrated amp. There are a number of them out there of course, but I am focusing in on two. Has anyone here compared the Advance Paris A12 to a McIntosh MA352 hybrid integrated amp? If so, how do they compare in terms of build quality, performance and value (especially since the price points on these two products is so far apart)? Or is such a comparison akin to apples v. airplanes (as in it is a ridiculous comparison)?  Thanks everyone!

Not a fan of the Mac sound — too veiled up top for my liking.  You might take a look at this hybrid Unison Unico 90 as an alternative that sounds great and could save you some $$$.

Here’s a fairly recent review to give you more of an idea of its sound characteristics.  Just another option FWIW, and best of luck.

McIntosh 100%, in the long run you won’t be disappointed, excellent performance, well made, hand made, repairable, made in the USA and excellent resale value.

I am a mcintosh  fan all the mcintosh  I've bought in the past 5 years used has gone up in$  on the used market. I have not had to fix any of it but they have service centers all over.they stock parts. I like the meters most turn off if you need it. I like the house sound. The only thing I don't like is they won't ship some stuff new. Enjoy the music.

If you like the sound of McIntosh, buying McIntosh is your safest bet.  They are absolutely reliable.  They hold their value.  No one has ever been hurt financially buying McIntosh.  Just be sure you like their house sound.  That sound is not for every audiophile taste.  Only you can decide what you like.  Don't read something in this or any other forum that persuades you one way or the other.  Including my post.  Use your own ears and make up your own mind.
