On June 26th New West Records (my favorite label, with an incredible artist roster) releases Then Again, an album Rodney Crowell recorded and intended to release back in 2006. Why he changed his mind is explained on the company’s website. I can’t wait to hear it.
Rodney’s 2001 The Houston Kid (on Sugar Hill Records, another great label) is my favorite album so far released in the 21st Century. And there has been some stiff competition from the likes of Lucinda Williams and Buddy Miller!
