I just skip over obvious AI posts the same way I skip over certain member's posts.
Not a big deal.

Should AI generated posts be banned or otherwise regulated?
I just wonder.
At least, when I start a new thread, I am expecting other people's opinions. I can get my own AI response so I am not sure why others would repeat what I can do myself.
If someone were to have access to some better AI than I have access to, I guess that would be useful info I could not otherwise get. But in general, I wonder why posters think responding with AI content is useful to someone who can get that directly themselves.
Be open-minded. Those who deny or dismiss the contribution of high-quality AI-generated information may be overlooking its real value. From my own repeated experiences, AI-generated guidance has often been the only effective approach to resolving the issues I encountered. Its problem-solving capability can, at times, exceed that of professionals or technicians working in the field. For example, after installing a new AT&T fiber modem, I experienced intermittent dropouts and pauses while streaming Qobuz. AI provided a highly effective, step-by-step troubleshooting process that allowed me to resolve the issue the same day. In contrast, neither AT&T technicians nor a few Audiogon members—who claimed to be experts—were able to identify or even approach the correct solution. Again, let’s stay open-minded and humble. Even if you believe you’re knowledgeable, it’s often the case that you may not be asking the right questions for AI to generate useful, meaningful answers that truly serve the intended purpose.

I never used to, but have been lately, since I changed to Brave browser to avoid pop-ups. I copy/paste, always say 'AI Quickie', and I learn something about the OP's mentioned equipment, and I always think of others following, who might benefit from what I bothered finding, after-all, I have more time than many members. I think if OP's made more effort with their titles, specific questions, and their initial post, responses would be more beneficial. |
