What are My Options for Ripping My CD Collection ?

Thanks everyone for your thoughtful comments.  I had no idea there were this many options. Many of which I'd not heard of.  I will study the suggestions and come back later with my decision.  Any other thoughts or comments appreciated.

Honestly, an external MAC DVD drive, a 1TB USB drive and iTunes, and you’re good to go.  Use the Apple lossless codec.  It’s easy, fast, and since iTunes uses Gracenote for metadata, you’ll get pretty accurate tagging without any fuss.

+1dogearedaudio. I’ve imported 1300 CDs (and counting) using itunes ALAC (lossless) encoding. Using a NAS drive for storage. Am using this to stream local music using Roon, but itunes has a local standalone player capabiity if needed. Not complicated at all.

Thank you all for your input.  After much thought and consideration of the possibilities, I have confirmed in my own mind that upgrading my music streamer is #1 and ripping CD’s is #2 but also very important. I also feel it would be terribly convenient to have all my music in one place and easily accessible. So, I have decided on the Innuos Zen Mk 3. The reviews and the input from these forums for  the Zen Mk 3, the Sense App, and excellent customer support have been very positive and I can confirm that customer support has been excellent in answering my recent questions.
