Aurender vs Nagra

Anyone compared N200 against the Nagra streamer?

Nagra looks to be similar to EMM Labs streamer which is basically a network card with a power supply in its own enclosure. It doesn’t have any of the proprietary processing neither does it offer a native streaming app.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it even used same streaming card, Converse Digital, that’s used by EMM Labs, which is by the way fantastic! But seeing it offers airplay means it could be a different card than what’s used by EMM

Nagra is

  • Qobuz Connect
  • Tidal connect
  • Spotify connect
  • Roon ready & Roon Tested
  • Plāys With Audirvāna
  • JPLAY Certified
  • Airplay 2 (for Apple devices)
  • UPnP / dlna for local files
  • vTuner (access to thousands of radio stations)

I use Meitner MA3i streaming card. Sold N200 and no longer use outboard streamer.

Since you are considering Nagra, have you looked up Wattson Audio (owned by CH Precision). Their Emerson Analog and Digital Bridge is very similar to Nagra without the proprietary N-Link. If you have a DAC that can accept N-Link then Nagra Streamer makes more sense.

I am very likely purchasing Emerson Analog in next week or so. At $1750, it appears to be a heck of a bargain.
