I had a great time making the rounds all three days, including the stair climbing challenges. Revisiting some stuff a second time when it gave me good impressions the first time. Stunned by the mere idea of million dollar systems and four monoblocks to handle duties in some rooms. Lots of decent conversations, including a few YouTuber personalities, and also engineering folks that I’d spoken with for repairs at one time or another.
It was still a crowd of humans, with a tilted demographic. If crowds are a bother, the entire show might never be one’s thing.
But there’s a great deal of manufacturing artistry, to be seen up close, and the chance to listen to crafted systems that were taken seriously by the presenters.
I did love that Nagaoka had the Masters golf tournament playing silently on Saturday.
