Hum with TAK CU phono cable

Thank you all , I really love the sound of the kimber , it’s something I will have to I I will have to get use to the small amount of hum. 

Also if you have your phono stage plugged into another circuit from where your preamp or integrated amp draws power, it may cause hum due to ground loop. 

@chrisocr have you tried what I suggested above? To have the phono stage run out of the same outlet/circuit as your preamp or integrated? That’s should clear out the hum. 

Yes I have , I apologize for late response and makes total sense, my turntable was connected to a separate source , so i joined the TT , phono preamp , preamp together with my power amp circuit. Did help , still slight hum and I think that’s the best it will be for now , I can live with it as I truly enjoy this cable compared to my Mogami . I believe since I am using a step transformer the 20:1 gain I am using with my denon 103r make the hum more audible at higher volume but in reality it’s way over my normal listening volume , at my normal listening volume which is plenty , the hum is hardly there. Kimber although says this cable has shielding, it seems it has less than average and it relies heavy on their special braiding technique to reject RF noise . But all in all I’m happy , thank you , I am new to these forums and very impressed with the support from the Audiophile community, applause 👏 from my end to you . 

@chrisocr glad it helped! Don’t forget the step up transformer should be in the same circuit with phono stage and preamp.
Turntable motor - doesn’t matter it could be plugged into a different outlet.
