Power Conditioner for Amplifiers

Does anyone have experience with ether the

Isotek Titan V5

or

Shunyata Typhon

These units are specifically designed to deal with power  to Amplification. I’m particularly interested in the Shunyata as it addresses both removing noise from the AC but also provides a cache or reservoir of power.

Just thinking about these products as the summer cooling season approaches which adds more hash to the AC. These are diff from regenerative products which I’ve tried and found wanting.

@jfrmusic I would highly recommend running two dedicated lines for your system as step 1. Terminate these with Shunyata SR-Z1 outlets. You can use one circuit for the amp and one for source components. Or combine.
This should provide better quality power. Experiment with power conditioning after you have dedicated lines. You have very high quality components in your system and there’s already a good degree of power filtering implemented as part of the design. Whether power conditioning is beneficial or not depends on quality of AC power and components. Dedicating lines are a must in my opinion unless it’s impossible to do.

Also…I would not put a power conditioner in front of P-4600…

A friend brought over a Isoteck Titan for us to try a couple of years ago, and left it for a while. He likes to use my system to try stuff out sometimes. Nope... it definitely limited the current and degraded the sound quality.

Big +1 on doing dedicated lines w/ good outlets first if you haven’t already done so.

I agree with @audphile1, dedicated lines and quality receptacles first!

@jfrmusic, Power Conditioners do not solve any of these common problems see here page #38.
