@patrickalston Klipsch have never been known for having deep bass. They may have lots of bass but not really deep.

I read the manual online. It has a section on placement that I’m sure helps + also addresses isolation from floor as needed. That should cover it. After that I’d say on to DSP/EQ/room correction as needed. All par for the course. Or one can jump on the gear change merry go round and spend a fortune there while leaving a lot on the table still if the basics of setting up for good sound are not addressed first. |
@willywonka wrote ". . .Klipsch have never been known for having deep bass. They may have lots of bass but not really deep." RESPONSE: Hmmmm, not sure that "lots of bass but not really deep" makes sense. . . .Speakers don't have bass, recordings do. Speakers, of course, have some capability to reproduce it. Regardless, I'm speaking from my frame of reference. That is, relative to my full-range electrostats which have a steep roll-off below 50 Hz. The Cornwall extends significantly lower as it can reach down to 34 Hz. I call that deep. |
Klipsch Cornwall's sacrifice low frequency bandwidth for high sensitivity, see here! Mike |
