SHUNYATA RESEARCH VRS CARDAS AUDIO VRS SYNERGISTIC RESEARCH

This discussion IS NOT A REQUEST for an opinion related to ANY cable in my system. I am not looking for cable recommendations, or equipment recommendations.

I am looking for comments associated with your listening experiences using the three cables. I have been using Shunyata Research cables for years. I am considering a new loom, and again, I DO NOT WANT RECOMMENDATIONS I WANT TO HEAR YOUR OPIONS OF THESE CABLES IN YOUR STSTEM.

hey it’s great if you own the following; Eggleston Works Andra III se, McIntosh MC601 monos, McIntosh C2600 pre, McIntosh DS200 digital streaming DAC, Panasonic Blue Ray DP-UB9000.

i have been using Shunyata ZiTron series (Snakes), starting with Cobra,Python, & Anaconda.

What was or is your thoughts, and experiences with Synergetic Research and Cardas Audio and if you own any of my equipment and Shunyatas tell me about that.
I want to know YOUR experience with these cables, please list system components also

I appreciate you all thanks

+1 @lordmelton , love the brevity. (don't know about Egglestons though).

I would only add that newer Shunyata cables I have tried seem overly bright or etched to me.  I prefer a more balanced full sound.

@fastfreight Have you by chance tried the Alpha X speaker cables?

@fastfreight would only add that newer Shunyata cables I have tried seem overly bright or etched to me.“

what do you mean by this statement? The newer are bright and etched? Or the older are? Please explain

Coincidentally I've been looking at the same lineup for power and tonearm cables.

I think I'm going with Shunyata Sigma QR power cables with the KIPP break in for some components and the Cardas Clear Beyond's for my Jeff Rowland amps. And the CCB tonearm cables.

My speaker cables and IC's I was considering but I really like the Townshend F-1 Fractal cables I have. They are clean and don't color anything. I'm skittish to try anything else.

I will get the Synergistic Theta Ethernet cable though. I heard great things about it.

Hello @swede58 and @vx700 ,   greetings from Maryland!

Here are my recent experiences with 2 Shunyata Power cords.  I wanted to get a power conditioner / surge protection unit due to frequent thunder storms.  I had read good things and purchased a Shunyata Denali 6000s V2, along with a Sigma V2 XC 20 amp power cord.  I tried this combo in one of my systems, my family room with at that time Revel Salon 2 speakers.  I ran my Makua preamp / Tambaqui DAC and my streamer through he Denali.  I always kept my Audionet Max amps plugged directly into a dedicated 20amp outlet.  Wow my wife and I thought.  It seemed to really 'light up' this system.  Maybe blacker background, but certainly highlighted the upper end.  We liked it.  Note the Salon speakers have a relaxed top end.  But, as extended listen sessions followed, I began to get ear sensitive and developed listening fatigue.  So I swapped in a 20 amp Kubala Sosna Elation power cord, and the sound smoothed out.  The Denali still cleared things up, but the synergy of the Elation power cable with my all Elation system seemed to win (again) for me.  Well fast forward, the rubber feet on the Denali stained my Tiger Maple audio shelf, and the nice folks at Shunyata gave me a 20% coupon for my troubles.  So not to be deterred, I purchased a Shunyata Sigma X NR 20 amp power cord to try in the Denali.  I liked it better, and kept it in the system for a couple of months.  But I could not stop  the feeling that the highs were just too bright.  So again, I swapped the Elation 20 amp PC back into the Denali and again things smoothed out to my liking.

Venturing into the not what the OP asked, I am now in the process of upgrading my better system to K-S Ovation, and my family room system to Realization.  Each is easily incrementally better, but always in keeping with the Kubala Sosna house sound of full spectrum, resolving, but never fatiguing.

I am sure the decision on these items is very system dependent.  For example, the Denali in my better system, which is more resolving, was not beneficial no matter what power cord.  I think a system with, strictly for example, McIntosh tube gear might appreciate this brighter sound where a solid state system like mine may be more sensitive to it.  Similarly, my systems stay away from silver in wires and appreciate an all copper cable loom.
