Do you listen intently?

How much of your time do you spend really concentrating on the music playing.  And how much time do you listen casually while doing other things?

Main system never on casually, all my listening is a dedicated listening session.

Well, yesterday during Easter dinner, I played all instrumental music in the background, until we got to the table which is too close to the speakers for people at that end.

Here in my office, sometimes while on the computer (can’t say working anymore) I stream Pandora in the background, and when something randomly gets my attention, I check out that artist.

On my main system, when I'm listening to music, I'm only listening to music. On my smaller computer system, I play music while doing Photoshop work, but I never have music just playing in the background.

Most of the time I’m sitting in the prime seat and listening closely.  Even if I’m distracted with surfing the web on my laptop, certain passages still catch my attention.  It’s rare that the system is just on for dinner or background music, but sometimes.

Best guess - 90% focused listening, 10% background
