Succes! Picked up my repaired amp today (after driving an hour in blinding rain)!
Total cost: $640. Sending to factory repair center (SF Valley, CA) would have cost $600 each way (insured) not including cost of repair.
Can't wait to try it out!
Need Qualified Tech for Amplifier Repair - Indianapolis/Chicago Area
Need Technician to evaluate and repair a BAT solid-state amp.
Speaker jumper dislodged and caused blown fuses when amp turned on.
New BAT service center now open in L.A. area, but shipping/insurance cost
prohibitive. Willing to drive to major city close to Indianapolis
(Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, etc.) but prefer Indy.
May be a simple fix, but several attempts at replacing fuses have failed.
