Roon Issues - Not able to play certain tracks

I have been running into this issue when Roon is in the radio mode where spontaneously it runs into a track it can’t play. It just sits there trying to play it.
When I go to that album and attempt to manually play that same track on Qobuz the result is the same - it won’t play. Plays other tracks from the albums just fine.
If I go back to Roon radio and skip that track the next song is played no issues.
No such problems with Tidal.

I have rebooted the Roon Nucleus One, rebooted my network, rebooted my DAC.
Even signed out of streaming services and signed back in. No bueno. This is in addition to it being sluggish and requiring an almost daily reboot to maintain sound quality and proper operating speed. Now this…

Anyone else with this problem?

@audiopacer about 1 month now.

Windows system monitor indicates the Asus NUC is not even breaking a sweat running it.  Roon performance is snappy and reliable reflecting that. Windows box I used prior was years old and Roon easily peaked out the cpu .   Performance was ok not great and had degraded further in recent months forcing a change.

@mapman Roon has really thrown the spanner in the works with the announcement of their new version scheduled for release, April 20, 2026, requiring new Roon minimum system requirements. Looks like QNAP users, like myself, are going to be screwed, because their QTS runs on glibc 2.21 and not 2.27, which is now a Roon minimum system requirement. Truly a “Ruin” moment…

@dwmb I hear you but have to point out that Linux based systems in particular typically require upgrades over time in order to remain reliable and secure.  I say that as an IT guy with 40+ years of UNIX experience.

It’s seldom fun, but maybe it’s  time for an upgrade.    My experience with Roon tells me not a good idea to get too far behind.  Using components that can be upgraded over time cost effectively is a good strategy.
