I did see a post a while back from someone who was had a pair. Looks like a well thought out design given proper electronics, obviously a sweet little. tube amp lots of "air" . You might check out these amps though there are others I am sure.

I have the 6.5 kit that I built. Very happy with them. 

I just ordered the Horn X2Pro speakers from Shinjitsu. Only way to find out what thay sound like is to try them. I looked at the Volti Audio Razz and Lucera, but they are out of my budget. I also looked at the Magnepan 2.7X, but at $10k!
