Speaker cables for Ayre gear with KEF speakers

Ayre has had a long relationship with Cardas, so I expect they voice their equipment with Cardas wiring...and I think this bias still remains even after Charles' passing. Is there a better cable solution with those speakers?  Probably.  Each situation deserves its own evaluation in your system, particularly for better equipment like yours...I'd also ask KEF what cables they use in voicing their speakers.  

What are you using now, and what specific improvements are you looking for?  And what’s your budget?

back when I was running his VX-R then VXR - Twenty with Vandersteen 7’s in a high pass configuration I got great results with everything from a shotgun biwire set of Audioquest type 6 to a very sonically pleasing silver LFD Spiroflex. George Cardas builds some fine wire. Rutan at Audio connection in NJ might advise Audioquest in Castle Rock or better if searching used. I would lid advise checking w a few Ayre dealers to get most out of your excellent speakers with a pretty long run of wire
