The cd player I have in for repair has been fixed and ready for a week now. And it’s impossible to arrange for pickup. I have waited for a call I never received last week and today I was told I will get a call back in 30mins. It is now 4hrs later and no one called. The only thing left is to create an invoice and tell me how much and when I can pick it up. This has been taking a week now for a phuking piece of paper.
So yeah best advice by @devinplombier just keep on waiting. Don’t call. They’ll call you. Lol

6 months is insane @audphile1 it's like "we are busy with our lives, you pray that somehow we will end up working on your equipment" |
Yes it’s not very reasonable I agree. But my experience with local repair shops has been consistent. I stopped buying equipment that I cannot get serviced at the manufacturer. And I stopped buying equipment made by anyone other than major brands that have been in business for a long time and have reputation for great service. This goes for cables as well. I don’t buy flavor of the month or some off the wall random stuff that is being hyped up…aka flavor of the month. |
@audphile1 which brand / model CD player are you having fixed? Asking out of curiosity, I currently have four CD players needing various levels of attention :) |
@devinplombier right now let’s not worry about that please. |
