Another great leaves

This one is really hard to accept. Growing up in south Louisiana and partying there and in south Texas over to San Antonio in the late 60s through the 80s Sir Douglas Quintet and later the Texas Tornadoes were the best TexMex music makers around. We just lost Flaco Jimenez last year and the great Doug Sahm way too early in his young career and now Augie. Don't need to say that their music will be played at my house in the next few weeks because it gets played regularly anyway. Hey Baby Que Paso. Enjoy the music

My cousin lives in Iowa,Louisiana outside of Lake Charles..I love the Southern/Mexican/Cajun music from the area . I've been a big fan OF Doug Sahm,Flaco,RiP Augie.Years ago they used to have thd Rabbit Festival in Iowa,and saw some great groups. In the local park....it has since moved and not as good.
