AI saids Vinyls needs to be stored 90 degrees. I had mine at about 70 degrees. Thoughts?

I own about 20 vinyls (some rare DJ mixes or 12 inch mixes). Most of them came from the 90s. I keep my house in about the degree range of 77-80 (I am the type to get cold easy). I kept my vinyls in a milk crate. Most them were stored at angle about 70 degrees. AI saids this is very bad and they could have some warping. Any thoughts, please?

slow day I guess

the room temperature and the angle at which the album is tilted has to be in sync.

A more than 5 degree variation will twist the albums into little twigs within hours.

(countries using Celsius are way more forgiving, obviously)

"AI saids Vinyls needs to be stored 90 degrees."

Are they on the record for saying that?

I don't believe that AI is referring to temperature.  It is saying that the vinyl records need to be stored at an angle that is 90 degrees to what they are resting on.  Otherwise, they will warp.  This is also true for shellac records.

AI is correct.

The pre-eminent work on this subject was done 67 years ago -  Preservation and Storage of Sound Recordings (Lemcoe, Picket, 1959).  They analyzed 10deg off vertical (80deg) based on storage at 80F without being moved for 20-yrs with little effect and they tested under the same 10deg from vertical at temperature of 110°F for 1000 hours, three discs were placed in the chamber at 10° off vertical at 110° F for 1000 hours.   See discussion beginning about page 35.  Short term (<20 years)  20deg off vertical (70deg) should have little effect.
