Cable Wars - ASR Review of Kimber KS 1036 Silver RCA Cable ($4500 pair)

Back in the late 70’s AudioQuest sent their dealers a passive comparator box which allowed switching between four RCA cables. My local HiFi store had one. We tried it. Nobody could tell any of the four cables apart! That’s why I know that claimed differences in cable sound do NOT exist.

ASR measures what’s easy to measure, not what matters. 

@jallan : It is settled science how an audio signal travels through a wire. There is NO yet-to-be-discovered X factor!

If your room acoustics are bad, every claim you make will be taken with a grain of salt.

@jasonbourne71 are you sure you weren’t thinking of the early 80s for Audioquest?  Bill started his company in 1980. Must of gotten ahold of some good Thai stick to lose the time. 😝
