are NET Switches worth considering?

I have an Innuos Pulsar Streamer that gives me everything I need - incredible detail, imaging and PRAT. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with NET switches? I'm particularly interested in the Innuos Phoenix NET and I'm wondering if adding this switch is worth the money. So for those of you who have great streamers is a net switch a must?

I should mention that my only source for music is streaming.

My Innuos Pulsar feeds my Accuphase DC-37 Processor/DAC and my other components include an Accuphase C2300 preamplifier and an Accuphase A-48S Class-A amplifier.

Thanks in advance!

@lalitk I have to say it again... your room and equipment are stunning! Nothing like a really good cognac with music in a room like this.  I could sit here listening to Bobo Stenson, Tord Gustavsen and Marcin Wasilewski all night long.

I'll take your advise and look into that optical device.

FWIW, I will add to my previous comment. I used to have the Zenith Mkiii and while at AXPONA I asked the Innuos rep about adding their DDC in the chain, and he remarked that I would get better results putting their Phoenix in the network. As for optical isolation, yes it makes a difference, but the optical signal has to be converted back to electrical on the receiving end, and if that is done poorly, your gains can be reduced. Products like the Phoenix do it all. All you can do with digital is keep pushing the envelope, I have been pleasantly surprised numerous times with upgrades.

@fire_water

I appreciate the sentiment and high praise. I believe we all are trying to have a space that makes time disappear… the kind where one record turns into five without you even noticing.

Bobo Stenson, Tord Gustavsen, and Marcin Wasilewski and many others are perfect for that atmosphere that every bit intimate, spacious, and emotionally loaded without ever trying too hard. And pairing it with a good cognac… that’s not just listening anymore, that’s a full sensory ritual. The warmth, the decay of notes, the silence between phrases…it all starts to matter more.

Honestly with my setup, I am not chasing sound anymore… I am just choosing experiences.

@zlone  Innuos makes great products period.  In firefighting we have the term "try before you pry" meaning, try opening a door before actually breaking down the door to gain access lol. Unfortunately with audio house demos are very rare and rely on people through forums to make decisions for us.

@lalitk +2 on your system. We can all dream.  Regarding the LHY filter you recommended, did you remove your telegartner switch and other filter(s) and replace it with the LHY device?
