Upgrade rca cables

I'm thinking about upgrading my rca cables from my prima Luna Dialogue preamp to my musical Fidelity nu vista cd player. cables I have in mind are the mad scientist white magic has anyone tried these what are your thoughts

RCA cables are indistinguishable in blind tests. Disabuse yourself of the notion that they sound "different."

From my Prima Luna Prologue 5 to my Musical Fidelity CD PRE 24, I use Audioquest interconnects.

The model I have is a few years old and is not offered anymore, which doesn't mean that much as models change frequently enough.  I think they were the Diamondbacks.  I don't go for anything too expensive and they have to have some type of discount.

Assuming your ears are as old as mine (1957), Jason gives pretty good guidance.  Even if you hear differences, they are rarely that great.  (Let the flaming begin!)

See the link below.  These are pretty good.

They use a completely new wire formulation we call White Magic — a metal with no copper, no silver, no gold, and none of the usual suspects. This isn’t just a different take on existing materials — it’s a genuinely new approach to metallurgy in audio.

Very interesting. I wonder how these cables sound not having the conductive properties of copper or silver.

Interesting concept. It does make me curious what they are using for conductor wire. Definitely going to look at that a bit more. If looking at other alternatives, I'd suggest checking out Hapa Audio. Their cables are honestly the best I've ever heard, and I know Jason doesn't charge nearly enough. The Ember are great value, but the Aero just crush it in performance.

They are made of carbon wire. They are supposed to sound smooth and non-fatiguing treble, strong midrange. Interesting idea.
