Upgrade Power Cord for FM Tuner

For those still using FM tuners (I stream also), what would you consider the best value in upgraded power cords? While retubing my vintage MD-108 today (original Sovtek to Northern Electric) I was embarrassed to discover that I had never bothered to upgrade the original crappy cord. Nothing over $500, as this unit is quite long in the tooth and may never be replaced when it dies.

Although I upgrade power cords for most things, my McIntosh MR78 has the OEM cord on it.  I never gave it consideration.

Waste of money/audiophoolishness OCD IMO.

Antennae location is the top thing to be concerned about.

1965 Macintosh MR71 is my daily driver. 13 tubes of analog FM.

I doubt MD would have brought the tuner to market if it were a "crappy" cord.

The upgrade officered for MD 108 is by the company is the legit "improvement" to bother with

Robert Levi's 2004 review of the then-newish MD-108 tells us "The 108 is supplied with a terrible 18-gauge power cord. I replaced it without even unwrapping it. Magnum Dynalab could do better." I don't know, but willing to spend a little to find out (belatedly).
@billstevenson Maybe Mac supplied a better original than MD? Although, apart from Monster Cable, I don't recall power cords being a big issue in the 70s-80s . . .
