Country Joe McDonald

Saw him perform solo in 1981. Good times, never to be repeated.

I saw so many great concerts during that era, even Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.  Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity or pleasure to see Country Joe & the Fish.  Electric Music for the Mind and Body provides some of my fondest memories from my early teenage years.  I bought a N/M reissue copy about 5 years ago and have it now placed in my album rotation area, probably to play it by today or tomorrow.  Once again, my system will be a time machine (which it often is, for me). RIP Country Joe McDonald.

@garebear - the names of the countries almost rhyme.... 

RIP Joe.I remember I was in HS in 1968 when one of the teachers  bought out a country Joe and the Fish ....Protect Album...yeah "what are we fighting for"..yeah and getting a draft card.Woodstock next year.
