Recommendation for a wall-mounted turntable light

I’m looking for a good light that I can use to illuminate my turntable.  However, I live in California/earthquake country and don’t really want a light that’ll just sit on my audio rack in case if falls over and damages my turntable/tonearm/cartridge when things start to shake.  So that kind of puts one of the UberLights out of the picture (although I love the Frame model and think it would look pretty awesome).  I know that the Frame can be bolted to a surface, but I’m not about to drill holes in my Symposium Acoustics rack!  I don't really want to clamp it to the rack either.  So, I was thinking that there might be a light that could be wall mounted that might do the trick.  I’ve looked around a bit but haven’t found anything that great, so I thought maybe someone here might have a suggestion.

Any ideas?

I  use a clamped on goosenecked LED that has a focused beam. It points at the table from slightly above. Works great. It has a little switch on the cord. Cost little on Amazon.

Uber on one system and very trusty LiL lite on another. IF it was me, I would put an ebony french cleat on the wall with a contrasting wood shelf and bolt on an Uber , LiL or Tensor….

have fun, enjoy the journey.

Aside… a true dyed in the wool audiophile light would come with optional upgrade linear PSU - banish the SMPS wall wart is my battle cry….

The clamp on the UberLight Frame is very well-designed, like the entire light. It has a relatively large surface area and does not require a tremendous amount of pressure/force to remain securely in place. Highly unlikely to mar your beautiful new Symposium Acoustics rack. Your assertion regarding the clamp on the UberLight Flex is correct. It's very basic compared to the Frame clamp. Actual owner/user of both lights.

Sounds like an electrician’s help would be worth the extra $. Pick the light you want and have them install it on the wall wired into switch? You might think it adds noise though so USB may be the way to keep going. Good luck!
