Amir visit to Mike Lavigne place 2017

I happened to read Amir impression of Mike system during his visit unfiltered and no sugar coating.i like it .He seem very honest about it. Though I don’t always agree with Him.

What I find interesting by reading Mike's comments in his system page is, he is still changing major parts of his equipment. Like selling his big towers to get horn speakers and moving on from multiple Dart Zeel pieces. It does show that even so he has reached what many would consider the pinnacle of sound,  upgraditis is a real medical condition.

As far as his room construction and acoustics are concerned, his methods played a major part in the building of my house of stereo and I will forever be grateful to him for having posted his process as referred to above by big_greg.

One doesn't need to be an acoustic "genius"  to know what you pontificate ad nauseam about. You missed my point as you claim I missed yours, so be it. I'll leave it there and simply ignore you in the future and you can do likewise with me .

I prefer  to "pontificate" than to insinuate that the post of someone whose intention is clean and clear is to disparage another reputable system/room owner...smiley

By the way i ignore no one... And i kept grudge against no one... Then i will answer even to your posts in the future because i will had forgot these posts... I remember only deep thoughts or interesting one...

@baylinor

after 20 years with the same brand speakers and the same brand amplifiers (each upgraded once within the brand over that time), and now changing from solid state amplifiers to an SET, and considering changing to horns, is THAT upgrade-itis?

what is the length of time required before changing is allowed? and who is the referee to make the call? or is my system direction controlled by municipal eminent domain and i’m not allowed to change?

just checking in to make sure of my legal position on this. :-)
